This guide is designed to help you prepare your clients quickly and effectively before their photo and video session, so your listing stand out and attract serious buyers.
Sellers
Please complete the following before your photo/video appointment:
Whole Home
- Remove clutter from all surfaces (countertops, tables, floors)
- Put away personal items (photos, mail, paperwork)
- Open all blinds/curtains
- Turn on all lights and replace burnt out bulbs
- Deep clean (floors, mirrors, windows, surfaces)
- Secure pets or plan to have them out of the home (remove bedding, bowls)
Exterior/ Curb Appeal
- Remove cars from driveway and in front of the house
- Tidy yard and landscaping
- Clear walkways and entry area areas
- Hide trash bins and tools
Kitchen
- Clear countertops
- Remove items from fridge (magnets, nots, etc.)
- Hi trash cans and cleaning supplies
- Clean all surfaces and appliances
Living Areas
- Remove excess decor and items
- Straighten furniture and pillows
- Hide chords, remotes, and small clutter
Bedrooms
- Make beds neatly
- Remove personal items
- Keep services, simple, and clean
Bathrooms
- Remove all toiletries
- Set out clean towels
- Close toilet lids
- Clean mirrors and counters
Day of Reminders
- Be out of the home if possible
- Turn on all lights, open all blinds
- Turn off fans and TVs
- Quick final walk-through before arrival
