I provide a client guide with every booked session. Suggestions include: avoiding bold, and heavy patterns, wearing neutral toned colors, so that bright colors do not bounce back onto your skin, and more.
Depending on how many people, ages, and dynamics, it can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Of course, young kids take longer, as well as extended families. If you want multiple locations or things like that as well. If it's just a one location engagement session, I think an hour is plenty of time.
Absolutely! However, I do offer a list of locations to choose from if you are undecided. Some places require a permit cost, so if you still want to go there, that will be an additional cost added to the session cost.
I am a big believer and allowing kids to be kids. They want to move around, they want to have an activity, they just want to have fun and be with people people they trust. Depending on your kid's personality, we can play tag, we can make s'mores, we can blow bubbles, I am very flexible when it comes to making them as well as yourself comfortable throughout the entire session. When coming to a session with a young child, you need to embrace the chaos.
Yes. For the most part, I like to see how you interact with each other, I will give you movement based prompts, try to be silly and make you laugh a little bit, whether that feels awkward or comfortable, is up to you. I prioritize focusing on connection. You have to want to be there.
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. As long as it is safe, I do recommend to embrace the weather. Rain photos/snow photos can be super unique and memorable.
